What is it?

For $19 a month, Ms. Chelsea creates and sends your family a new monthly music experience on CD (see bottom for Yoto & Tonie compatibility) + “Zine” — mini magazine.

Every delivery is carefully designed with your child’s emotional regulation and brain development in mind. Ms. Chelsea records original content, drumming up new themed songs, movement and learning curriculum using a Montessori/play-based approach.

How Does it Work?

Every month, Ms. Chelsea writes, records and designs a new, themed Mailbox Melodies for your child which is sent out via snail mail on the 15th of each month.

Your child’s monthly themed delivery includes a NEW content CD + Zine + Digital Download containing:

Grows with your Child

Infancy

Exposure to music in infancy is one of the most researched early development inputs. Within just months babies show stronger neural processing of sound patterns, they show larger vocabularies by age 2-3, develop better phonetic discrimination, strengthens pattern recognition and so much more.

Even just 15-30 minutes of interactive music daily can improve attention and increase vocalization.

How to use:

Infants learn through repetition. Make it a daily routine to play song tracks, story times, and lullabies.

Time of day:

Tummy time, winding down, bath time, nursing or feeding.

Toddlerhood

Toddlers are on the move a lot and while I completely understand this important developmental need (Mailbox Melodies has movement activities and songs), it’s also equally important to offer them regulating activities. Mailbox Melodies is great for toddlers in that it offers both! Age 2-3 you really see the children engage with the CD tracks from jumping around like little bunnies to “smelling the flowers” which teaches them how to take big breaths.

How to use:

Play the whole CD through like a music class or skip around to different tracks throughout the day. There are transition songs, calming down and even a calming story time.

Childhood

Children ages 3-5 are exploring more confidence in their independence. You will see even more engagement, following along to guided instruction in the CD, completing activities within the Zine. Children at this age really love the singing tracks and being able to do the hand motions, as well as the story time.

How to use:

Play through from beginning to end and use as an in-home music class, or let the child choose which tracks they would like to play.

FAQs

  • I send out a newly themed monthly Mailbox Melodies on the 15th of every month via USPS. We are a snail mail club and believe the magic is in doing it the old school way with no tracking. Mail usually arrives between 3-7 business days. We are based in California.

    Note: If you sign up for your subscription by the 5th of the current month, you will receive that month’s Mailbox Melodies. If you sign up after the 5th of the current month, you wont be charged until the next month and will receive the following month’s Mailbox Melodies.

  • 0-6 years

  • If you need to cancel or pause your subscription, you can do so in your customer portal HERE. Please reach out if you need any assistance.

  • You can reach us anytime via my email hello@mailboxmelodies.net. I have two toddlers myself but aim to respond quickly—usually within one business day.

  • Mailbox Melodies Refund Policy

    Thank you for subscribing to Mailbox Melodies by Grape Jammers.

    Because Mailbox Melodies is a subscription-based product that includes physical media and printed materials, the following refund policy applies.

    Subscription Billing

    Mailbox Melodies is billed as a recurring monthly subscription. By subscribing, you agree that your payment method will be charged automatically each billing cycle until you cancel your subscription.

    Subscription prices are listed in U.S. dollars and may be subject to applicable sales tax depending on your location.

    You may cancel your subscription at any time before your next billing date to avoid future charges.

    Refunds

    Due to the nature of the product, we do not offer refunds for subscription charges that have already been processed.

    This includes:

    • Monthly subscription payments

    • Promotional subscription plans

    • Subscription boxes that have already been prepared or shipped

    Once a billing cycle has begun, that month’s subscription is considered active and is not refundable.

    Damaged or Missing Items

    If your Mailbox Melodies package arrives damaged or missing items, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.

    When possible, we will send a replacement for the damaged or missing item.

    • Shipping address

    • A photo of the damaged item (if applicable)

    Shipping Issues

    We are not responsible for delivery delays caused by postal carriers. However, if your package appears lost, please contact us and we will help investigate with the carrier.
